Hi,
Apologies if this has come up before and I couldn't find the thread. I've recently started as a sys admin at a small company dealing with big data and I'm helping to move along the Zabbix set-up that started about 6 months ago but basically stalled due to not enough time. Here's the actual issue:
There's a server, let's say X, which had Zabbix installed but the machine had to be rebuilt and is now recognised as X_2. The IP address has changed due to the removal from and return to the network, and I'm guessing the (new)Zabbix agent was linked up through the discovery option.
Is it possible to merge the two host profile? Or copy the old data across to sit under the new version (with an extra note to say that this box was formerly known as "X")?
Thanks,
Jo
