Note the attached graph: obviously something changed in my proxy config:
I don't remember having made such a change, but something is causing the zabbix queue to unload evry day around 03:00 hrs. Which is probably a good thing, otherwise the queue seems to grow out of control.
I know there is no actual queue in Zabbix, but I do like to know which items are filling up my queue. Is there any way to find these items? Logfiles in zabbix_proxy.log at the remote proxy and zabbix_server.log at the server do not give me any info.
Another weird thing: the item zabbix[queue,10] for this proxy shows 68 item waitng for more than 10 minutes, but the Queue Viewer at Administration > Queue > Overview by proxy shows only 17 items in the "More than 10 minutes" column. Could someone shed a light an that too?
Update: never mind the above Queue Viewer question. The item zabbix[queue,10] lists the queue at the zabbix server and not at the zabbix proxy. All waiting item in the column "More than 10 minutes" for all proxies combined, equals the amount of waiting items in zabbix[queue,10].
