    What leads you to think that it is not working? Housekeeper running 100% constantly? Maybe you should reduce the amount of records, it can delete at once... Maybe that 100k is too much?

      Running a select below
      mysql and returns the number of rows in each history and history_uint table

      I'm not seeing the size of the lines decrease

      Code:
      SELECT table_name, table_rows, data_length, index_length, round(((data_length + index_length) / 1024 / 1024),2) "Size in MB" FROM information_schema.tables WHERE table_schema = "zabbix";

        Zago, you've shown housekeeping-related settings from zabbix_server.conf, but is your housekeeper actually enabled?

        If you look at your zabbix_server.log, do you see periodic entries for your housekeeper, where it actually says it is deleting something?

        If you see housekeeper entries in your zabbix_server.log, but all the numbers are always 0, have you verified in your Administration settings that the housekeeper is actually enabled?

            bash$ grep housekeeper zabbix_server.log

            If you see following, then it probably works OK. You can see things being deleted.

            33916:20220131:092319.152 executing housekeeper
            33916:20220131:092323.457 housekeeper [deleted 0 hist/trends, 1 items/triggers, 247 events, 195 problems, 6 sessions, 0 alarms, 1 audit, 0 records in 4.288106 sec, idle for 1 hour(s)]
            33916:20220131:102324.202 executing housekeeper
            33916:20220131:102328.866 housekeeper [deleted 0 hist/trends, 0 items/triggers, 310 events, 202 problems, 9 sessions, 0 alarms, 0 audit, 0 records in 4.648553 sec, idle for 1 hour(s)]
            33916:20220131:112329.588 executing housekeeper
            33916:20220131:112333.880 housekeeper [deleted 0 hist/trends, 0 items/triggers, 61 events, 249 problems, 9 sessions, 0 alarms, 2 audit, 0 records in 4.277378 sec, idle for 1 hour(s)]

            Or go to Administration -> general and choose "housekeeping" from menu, you should see tickboxes for enabled housekeeping.
