    Autoregistration not detecting new agents

    Hi all,

    Ive been going through this for the last couple days. Manually adding a new agent is pretty easy, but for some reason I just cannot get autoregister to work for me. I'm sure I am missing something simple.
    • Zabbix Server:
      • 5.0
    • Agent:
      • OS: RHEL 7
      • Agent: zabbix-agent-4.0.37-1.el7.x86_64
    • Agent Configuration:
      • On the client side, I have zabbix agent installed. In etc/zabbix, I have my psk file saved. The string within that file is added to my zabbix_agentd.conf, the contents of which are pasted below (settings bolded for easier reading. IPs, PSK strings, and Hostnames removed):

    Server=127.0.0.1 this should also point to your zabbix server or proxy not to localhost.
    Hostname=zabbix.server This should be your hosts name. Or commented, if you want to use HostnameItem. It will be used to identify your host in Zabbix. Must be unique.
    TLSPSKIdentity=***PSK File Text String Goes Here*** "The string within that file is added to my zabbix_agentd.conf" This should not be contents of the secret.psk file, but just the identity what you set under "Administration" -> general -> auto registration -> PSK...

      I have no idea how I managed to mess up TLSPSKidentity, I set the Server variable to the Zabbix Server IP, and commented out the Hostname variable. After restart the server popped up in my dashboard immediately. Thank you!
