Hello All - I've been trying to set up a new Action to send an text via email and meeting with varied success... I'm still learning Zabbix (the previous guy who set it up left the company a year ago and it's been just coasting on its own since), so please forgive any noob/uneducated questions!
Currently, I have the action set up like this:
Conditions (A) and (B) and (C)
(A) Maintenance statsu not in maintenance
(B) Trigger value = PROBLEM
(C) Trigger = qa-001: Free Disk Space is less than 20% on volume /data2
Operations Tab:
Send message to users [user1], [user2]
Both users are set up using mobile # @txt.att.net as the media, and are members of the Zabbix Administrators group. Both users also have Red-Write permissions to all hosts/groups.
We also have a standard email distro that receives the alerts just fine. Yesterday, I configured a different alert for testing, and I think I left is as OR instead of AND... and last night at 1:30, something happened to our MPLS and we lost connection to all our stores and I was woken up by 40+ texts letting me know as much, so I know it CAN work... I just don't get what I'm doing wrong with the above?? Any suggestions??
