Create alert for Cisco port security violations

Hello,

I've been trying to find out how to create alerts for Cisco port security violations.

I've configured the Zabbix server to pick up SNMP traps and the SNMP traps are being sent by the Cisco switch as they appear in the zabbix_traps.tmp file on the server when checking.

However i'm unsure how to create the Item and the relevant trigger for the alert.

Has anyone achieved this and can assist please. Thank you so much

If it is already a received trap, written down in a file... then please read docs, how to create snmptrap items (https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...types/snmptrap) and from there go on with creating triggers...
