    Streamlining Templates

I have figured out how to create an item that monitors individual services on my RHEL server, but I am wanting to implement this item with it's associated trigger on multiple servers for multiple services. The issue is that each server is unique so I need to be able to duplicate my item and customize them (without having to manually recreate the item and trigger every time) . For example, one of my servers, all I want to monitor is Apache, while on another, I want to monitor dhcp and pkitomcat services. I'm looking into Macros, but I don't think Macros alone will fix my issue.

    Thank you!

You did not say, what version of server/agent you are using...
Agent2 has built in "systemd.unit.discovery" discovery item (https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...amples/systemd). What you need to do, is adding filter to that discovery (https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...scovery#filter), which will define, what services you want to discover on that particular host. You can use host level macros to define the list.
