Please share the all methods available in Zabbix to monitor/raise alarm for ISP availability.

Please provide the ISP availability monitoring method other than ping

Please provide the ISP availability monitoring method other than ping. Because when one ISP goes down, it gets ping the ISP public ip address by another ISP. So it show ISP available but actually it down.

Please help me if anyone knows the other method to monitor ISP availability

A little more information may be useful.

Does it continue to show up because your router ahead of your zabbix server has an automatic failover to another outbound link or is this a BGP router you're monitoring and it takes an alternate route to get to that public IP?

In either case, a custom script which alerts you to significant changes in the path of a trace route would let you know.

Since I'm a little new to Zabbix, maybe someone else could pitch in with the "how to" should this solution be acceptable.
