    auto discovery SNMP OIDs

    hi all,

i want to be able to get zabbix server to auto discover hosts, ive already enabled SNMPv2 on all my linux/switches

i want to put a wild card in the OID but i dont know what one to use, going by this link

    https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...very/snmp_oids

i would had thought 1. would had done it as 1. would had captured everything

    thanks,

    rob

What if you were to just set the range to pull one or two valid devices that you know?

I am not sure. I'm looking for help myself in regards to discovery -> https://www.zabbix.com/forum/zabbix-...-rules-to-work

That's when I found that YouTube video which looks similar to what you are working with.

i think were barking up the wrong path here as i think its templates we need to mess about with, like the one i attach

just instead of cpu discovery and the oid, need to make them wildcards
