use OIDs from snmpwalk for template

    hi all,

is there a way to use the OIDs from the snmpwalk command i run on my zabbix server for my opnsense firewall, instead of using a specific template when i create the host

as im using the PFSENSE template for my opnsense firewall and it doesnt like it, as it complains i have a problem about the web interface is down but its not

    thanks,
    rob

OPNsense just don't have all the same OIDs (BEGEMOT-MIB) available what are found from pfSense.

    Code:
    $ snmpwalk -v2c -c public 192.168.0.1 1.3.6.1.4.1.12325
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.12325 = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID
    My OPNsense version:
    OPNsense 21.7.8-amd64
    FreeBSD 12.1-RELEASE-p22-HBSD

You just want to collect all (or some) oids which can be seen by snmpwalk?

It could be done by external script which runs snmpwalk. Then some js preprocessing and LLD rules...

Or add items semi-automatically by api script.

I want to import the oids that snmpwalk has picked up, can I do that

I tried doing the auto discovery snmp but I didn't know how to get it to pick up my oids from a host I added

Yes, than can be done like I wrote previously.

However, I don't understand why you want to do that. There are quite much unrelevant information.
I would just add manually those oids which are really important.

AFAIK interesting firewall statistics aren't available from Opnsense by SNMP.
