Zabbix 2.4 - SNMP data collecting

    Hi all.

We've been using Zabbix 2.2 for a long time. Everything is working as it should. I'm toying around in my lab with a 2.4 version and I have come to a problem that i'm stuck with at the moment. As for zabbix-agent data collecting, everything works superb, but for the love of God I cannot get any data from SNMP devices.

I have followed this tutorial on how to install Zabbix 2.4 on Debian 8 - Jessie:

This tutorial will focus on how to install Zabbix Server on Debian/Ubuntu and RHEL/CentOS/Fedora/RockyLinux/AlmaLinux with MySQL, PHP, and Apache Web Server.

The problem is the SNMP icon indicator of availability never turns green or red for that matter. I can do SNMPWALK from CLI on the Zabbix server and get the values but in Zabbix GUI I cannot.

    Help is very much apreciated!

      Hi friend.

I checked your video even before posting new thread. Just to let you know, the problem was with package snmp-mibs-downloader. After reinstall, I could start collecting the SNMP data.

      Thnaks for reply!
