I have Zabbix setup monitoring about 8 servers. I am currently sending out e-mail notifications for any trigger that is in a problem state with any severity.
What I notice is that I am getting notifications about a server where the JVM is not reachable. Within the same minute, I get an e-mail recovery notification that the JVM is reachable.
Is there a way that I can prevent this from happening? For example multiple checks before it sends out the e-mail, or that the server has to be in a problem state for x amount of minutes before a notification gets sent out?
I've tried things like setting the duration to 300 seconds but didn't seem to help anything.
Thanks,
KL
