Using Zabbix 6.0 with an earlier version of Proxy

Newbie here who started with v6.0 and is making great progress.

While there are warnings saying the Zabbix server and its agents need to be on the same version, I'm seeing the 6.0 OSX agent work, and the 5.4 Linux agent work, so I know this is not 100% true. I also see that not all common (as in Linux) versions of the agent are available for download yet.

My question is on using Proxy. It's not available via the Zabbix download page, so I tried the Apt download on a Raspberry Pi (testing on my home network), and it doesn't seem compatible. I am using Proxy version "Zabbix 5.0.21 (revision 47104dd574)"

    1. Is it true that I need to be running v6.0 agents & proxies with a v6.0 server?

    2. And if so, where do I download them from? Zabbix's download pages doesn't seem to have all of them?

    TIA,

    Dave

I found the install files for Proxy v6.0 on https://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/6.0/r...main/z/zabbix/ and it's working. For the record, Zabbix should list this as a place to find downloads!

I just found the installation files at https://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/6.0 - just navigate to the file you want to install which is the instructions for apt to install the software. It appears that the v6.0 of Proxy is available to some Linux flavors (like Ubuntu) but not all.
