Is it normal for zabbix agent to use this much memory ?

On average zabbix agent (active) process (tested with both latest v4 and v5) on my various Debian 10 systems are using 600-700KB (rss) per item. Is this normal?
490 items (mix of int & float, 30-180s intervals) = 298M
529 items (mix of int & float, 30-180s intervals) = 346M
