MySQL Version for Zabbix 2.0.7

Dear Team,

I am using Zabbix 2.0.7 with MySQL version 5.0.67, which i am planning to upgrade to MySQL version 5.5 or later for better performance of InnoDB Engine.

Is it compatible to do this from Zabbix perspective?

Hi,

Yes, MySQL 5.5 or 5.6 is a good choice for replacing the outdated 5.0.
It should work without any issues with your Zabbix 2.0.7. however it would be recommended if you upgrade that one as well.

Thanks a lot for the information, current we run MySQL on NFS and InnoDB delivers very poor performance which prioritize the MySQL upgrade over Zabbix.
We are planning to upgrade the Zabbix as well soon.
