    Question about User -> Media -> "When Active"

    Hi guys,

    i have the following problem:
    My Zabbix server creates backups with amanda. This means, every Night at about 4:00, the System and Network is (very) busy. My Zabbix agents become "Unavailable" in that Time Period. Because of that, I get about 350 eMails every night.

    I see only 2 options now:
    1) to create "timed triggers" (i don't know exactly how it works, but it surely is some Work for me).
    2) to set the "When Active" field in the Media (eMail) to be inactive in that period of time.

    I tried to do 2), but didn't get far. This is what i tried out:
    When Active = 1-7,05:30-04:00;
    When Active = 1-7,00:00-04:00,05:30-23:59;

    Both didn't work.
    How can i solve the Problem? / What is the correct Expression to create a gap from 4:00 - 5:30 AM?
    Would it be clever to completely stop the Zabbix server at 4:00 and start it again at 5:30?
    Big ZABBIX is watching you!
    (... and my 48 hosts, 4513 items, 1280 triggers via zabbix v1.6 on CentOS 5.0)

    So, which did work, I wonder why you were not answered so long ago!

      This works 4 me:
      Code:
      Type	Send to When active Status
      Email	my@email	1-7,06:00-23:59;	Enabled
      Email	my@email	1-7,00:00-03:00;	Enabled
