Upgrading from Zabbix 3.0.0alpha4 to Zabbix 3.0.0alpha5

I have looked high and low and can find no documentation on an in-place upgrade from ZABBIX 3.0alpha4 to alpha5 and only see upgrade notes from 2.x to 3.x. I am running CentOS 6.7 and using MySQL (just because I am very acquainted with it and it has to be installed on this server anyhow.)

Since I had to compile everything to run 3.0, I am hopeful I can upgrade in place to alpha5 and am running the new versions ONLY because I would like to be able to contribute back to this project - money does not grow on trees, but expertise do. Is it possible you have an open .git or .svn repository set up just for this purpose? Thank you in advance.

    Regards, Douglas

But just check database schema scripts, maybe database has very small or no changes.

Looking forward for RPMs to come, don't like to compile much.

I downloaded lastest Version and compiled it. Remove old webinterface, setup new and everything were fine for me.

Hey thank you both for responding - the Holiday season had turned my priorities in irregular ways.

This is one of those question one (me) asks in hopes of getting out of doing the new removal and setup work - yet where I am at now, I cannot be posting bugs and such if my install is iffy. That is unless the zabbix people can say otherwise.

        Regards,
        Douglas
