After upgrading to 6.0.2 disk usage is increasing rapidly

    Hi,

After i upgraded my Zabbix from 5.4 to 6.0.2 the disk usage on my Ubuntu machine is rapidly increasing.
I have not made any changes except upgrading zabbix, so i believe somewhere Zabbix is logging tons of data - way more than before.

Any good clues where i should start looking?

    Regards
    Robert

ok, i know im necroing old thread here, but some ppl may still stumble upon this issue as i did recently, also updating from zabbix5/mysql5 to zabbix6/mysql8 so i thought why not share my findings
default settings for binlog have changed in mysql8, which was issue on my side https://askubuntu.com/a/1390848 https://www.zabbix.com/forum/zabbix-...ing-day-by-day it can be safely altered in my.cnf [mysqld] setion

Look into the Zabbix server and agent logs located in '/var/log/zabbix/'. Review the Zabbix configuration files for any changes that might impact data retention or logging levels. Additionally, monitor Zabbix's database size and growth rate, as increased data collection could be causing database bloat. Live The Orange Life
