Zabbix Agent installations

Hi there,
im trying to install zabbix agent on linux servers and getting the following error :


Requires: libcurl.so.3()(64bit)

zabbix server version 2.23
linux :
Linux version 3.10.35-43.137.amzn1.x86_64 (gcc version 4.8.2 20131212 (Red Hat 4.8.2-7) (GCC)


how can i download Zabbix agent?

Hi,

Generally the error message says it all - to run Zabbix agent you need "libcurl" package to be installed.
You can do that by running

yum install libcurl

After that try reinstalling Zabbix agent.

tried that already

getting

Package libcurl-7.40.0-3.52.amzn1.x86_64 already installed and latest version
Nothing to do


is there any other way to install Zabbix agent?

i have succeeded to solve it , but getting another error:


---> Package zabbix.x86_64 0:2.2.11-1.el7 will be installed

I think you using Amzon Linux 2014.03.

Amazon Linux was based Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.
But, Amazon Linux were updated many packages.

Please try use package for RHEL 6.
not for RHEL 7.

I think best way is rebuild package on Amazon Linux.
