How to edit xml template to link it to same item snmptrap.fallback

Hi I am trying to create two different templates and want to link it to same item with key snmptrap.fallback. can i edit the xml directly so as to it assign it to same hosts without any errors. if so how can i do it?
I can have this item in anyone of template.
