Use of SSH Template in 5.2

Hi All, We are looking at the SSH template in our 5.2 deployment and wish to be able to apply it all the Linux systems in our production Zabbix system. Looking at the template, it does not seem to be linked to anything and we are hesitant to just guess not wanting to create a problem. Could someone please share with us the correct way to link this template so this monitor applies to all Linux servers? TIA

We have linked it to Zabbix Linux active agent and the template appears to distribute to all Linux systems and windows servers as well, which the windows boxes immediately alert
