Zabbix comunication when using the Vmware Hypervizor Template

Dear Zabbix community,
as far as I know, it is possible in zabbix to get host data when using an agent or just snmp. And therefore, have to prepare the firewall to letting data through port 10050, 10051 and for snmp 161. But what if I use a template like "Vmware Hypervizor". It is not using an agent, right? But how does the template get the host data? and which port do I need to open.
I am sorry if this question sounds too silly, but I cant find a good answer for this.

Zabbix uses VMware SDK to get VMware information. Please configure so that Zabbix can access the URL of SDK. When using the template, the following macro settings are required.

{$VMWARE.URL}
{$VMWARE.USERNAME}
{$VMWARE.PASSWORD}
