Hi,
My apologies in advance if these are dumb questions - but I'm setting up Zabbix for the first time, and struggling a bit (and have searched, but no joy finding any answers so far ...
). Here are my struggles - any (and all) pointers would be much appreciated!
1) I have enabled SNMP discovery (using ifDescr), but nothing on the subnet is found. Odd, as I confirm several machines using snmpwalk, and the are there. Ping for the same subnet also works ... just no items being Discovered by SNMP. It may be SNMP_COMMUNITY though, as I can't for the life of me find where to set that ...
.
2) Given 1) above, I created a single host ... but still no SNMP connection. Again it may be SNMP_COMMUNITY, or something else ... but no joy.
3) I have discovered several devices on the subnet using ICMP ping - but then confused how to show graphs for them. Do I need to manually add graphs to every single machine? If they are discovered by ping, is there really no automatic graph for ping response time?
Thanks very much!
