Do I need to open the port and have a static IP address for the client

We want to monitor some customers' sites and some have a dynamic IP address. The server is hosted at Linode and the agents will be installed at customer sites. Do I have to open the port and forward it to the server? What if I have several servers to monitor?

Hello qubit, just use the name instead of the ipaddress and select DNS option in the zabbix host interface

doesn't make much sense that the client would have to have a static address. i will continue to work on it.
