JMX Monitoring via Proxy

Hi All,

I have a requirement to monitor multiple servers using JMX via proxy. I wanted to know do I need to install the java gateway on both the proxy and zabbix server or just the zabbix server?

Any help would be much appreciated.

If your host is monitored by a proxy, then you need that java GW in your proxy (or separate host, which is described in proxy config). In that case you do not need javaGW in your server.

Hi,

I installed the java GW on the zabbix server itself and in the proxy config file gave the GW address the same as zabbix server but the host isn't connecting. I am getting SSL shutdown incorrectly error on the JMX. Any idea what to do about this?
