Pass in production mode a Zabbix installation

Hello,
I was evaluating Zabbix for weeks. Now all is OK and I'd like to pass in production mode.
For this, I want to reset (delete all events received by all items at the same time) the Zabbix database to start on a proper base.
I read I can use "clear history for this item" from "hosts" but it will be a mess, I have more than 100 hosts :/
Can I do this directly from the MySQL database ?

Try on a test database to truncate tables history_uint, history, history_text, trends_uint, history_str and trends. Zabbix seems to restart and store again values from hosts.

Am I good or wrong ? Is it the good method ?
