Is there a way to a add exception to discovery rules, or item and trigger prototypes?

    Hi All,

I have a bunch of backup servers on which I need non OS disk alerts to be triggered when free space is below 2GB, but On OS Disks it should be less than or equal to 2%.

I have tried to just add a trigger in templates specifically for C drive to trigger at 2% and leave the discovery rule to trigger at 2GB, but It is throwing incorrect Item error and when I try to create item manually with different name, but now I am getting repeated key error saying it already exists.?

    What can be done here?

You can create 2 discoveries. One for OS and other for non-OS Filesystems/Disks. In case of windows set filter in one "{#FSNAME} Matches "^C"" (or if you have more dedicated to OS, use regex there) and for the other one "{#FSNAME} does not match "^C"" and then you can also create different items/triggers. As you see you need to check different things... one is percentage, one is used amount.

I think I am using a different version of zabbix than you, As in Filters I dont see a "does not match" option.

I created two regular expressions for OS and Non OS in the administration section and added them to the discovery rule.

But I've found another problem when I try to create two discovery rules like you said is that zabbix is not allowing me to use the same discovery key twice.
I've created a discovery rule for only OS Drives

Now after saving this rule, I tried to create a new rule for non OS Disks but I'm getting the error that vfs.fs.discovery already exists

Yyour discovery key is just "vfs.fs.discovery" ... add some identifiers to them... like "vfs.fs.discovery[OS]" and "vfs.fs.discovery[nonOS]", it will make keys different..
          But 3.0 is ancient..
