    Why does "zabbix-nginx-conf" require apache2 ?

    Hi,

I'm installing a frontend zabbix and for a change I wanted to use nginx instead of apache.

While installing the package zabbix-nginx-conf, it seems that it need apache2, can someone know why ?

Installing this package return some error has it seems some nginx packages are missing.

      Hi,

Yes I used the zabbix repo, following an online tutorial to put the frontend in another vm the trick was to install nginx first to avoid conflicting with apache, then install zabbix-nginx-conf.

I did not look deeper into why this requierement of having 2 web server app is present.

Hoping this answer help someone with the same problem in the future
