strange email behaviour

I've set up an action to email an alert to the Zabbix admin group, that contains two users. The first user receives the email, the other doesn't. The log is in debug mode and yet it is not helpful at all, all it logs is that one alert was sent out.

Both users are in the same group so they have the same privileges, what could be wrong then?

I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Well, after much lost time, I figured out that even though a user is part of a group that has read privileges on the host in question, one STILL needs to set permissions in the user view.

So, problem solved.
