I have successfully built a RPi with Zabbix server, Ngix, My-Sql and it is working on my local home network, talking to some ZBX agents and a switch.
Tried it on the QNAP using an appliance image in a container and that worked also.
Reading the info, they do not recommend running an appliance live.
Thought I would build it on my QNap NAS in container station and have come unstuck as I do not understand how to do it.
Qnap has MariaDB10, runs on port 3307. I created the Zabbix DB, Have imported the relevant files into the db. So all good in that respect.
Please someone guide me on where I go from here. I am new to containers, so learning.
Qnap uses a GUI for containers, but after reading the install instructions and numerous videos I still do not know what image to use and how to apply the params that are required.
I can run the docker command from the CLI in the nas
Effectively I would like to run Zabbix server, NGix, using the mariadb that I have built etc.
I then want to use the Pi I originally built as a proxy.
Hope someone can help
Regards,
Paul
