    Trigger not creating problem

    Hi All,

    I have been hesitant about asking any other questions as my last few have been kind of silly in retrospect, but I have been at this one for a week now.

    I have created a web scenario with one step. The step checks for a specific string of text on a URL Status Page. The Step appears to be working as I can see data, but the trigger is not creating a problem.

    Since I cant actually turn of the service that I am trying to monitor, i just have the step search for text that does not exist, so i know it works.

    Not sure why, but screenshots arent working for me. Here is my configuration setup

    Scenario:
    Name: Habits Service
    Application: Web Services
    Update Interval: 1m
    Agent: Zabbix

    Step:
    Name: Habits (QA) Status
    URL: https address for status page
    Timeout: 5m
    Required String: Status: Nope
    Required Status Codes: blank. Nothing in here.

    Trigger:
    Name: Habits (QA) Down
    Severity (High)
    Expression: {Website Monitoring:web.test.fail[QA Habits].last()}="Status: Nope"
    OK event generation: Expression
    PROBLEM event generation mode: Single
    OK event closes: All Problems
    Allow Manual Close: Checked
    URL: https url of status page
    Enabled: Checked

    Web Monitoring Page of the Host: Step "Habits (QA) Status" [1 of 1] failed: required pattern "Status: Nope" was not found on https://urlofstatuspage

    Item key: web.test.fail[Scenario]
    Type: Numeric(unsigned)

    So, at first... start comparing apples with apples.. Value for this item cannot be a string. It is a number.

        Reconstructed the expression using my brain this time. it seems to work. More testing needed.

        {Website Monitoring:web.test.fail[QA Habits].last()}=1
