how can i track my server services

    Hello Dear Users,

ı work as System Support in factory with 348 Clients and 74 Server. our entire system is running as cloud on vmware. We have many windows server 2022 machines and there are services that we run specially.

I looked at the zabbix docs, watched youtube videos but I couldn't understand. How can I be notified when a service running on windows server 2022 is down?

    thanks in advance

    For single Windows service monitoring:
    1. Install Zabbix agent on Windows server
    2. Create a Windows server host on Zabbix.
    3. Create item in the host for needed service (for example, PhoneSvc)
    • use key service.info[PhoneSvc]
    4. Create trigger there:
    • use expression last(/Your_Windows_server/service.info[PhoneSvc])<>0 (where 0 is running state of service)
    • choose Severity (Warning, Information, etc)
Or you can use the official Zabbix template https://www.zabbix.com/integrations/windows

Thank you so much for helping, I've solved agent installations and communications, but I'm always having problems with trigger generation.
Any chance you can show it with a video or screenshot? this will save my life. Thanks again

I am sorry I wrote everything for Zabbix 6.0
So, the easiest way is the following:
You have a host, for example, Host1
    1. Go to Configuration->Hosts->Host1 -> Templates and link Windows services by Zabbix agent template.
    2. Configuration->Hosts and then press Discovery on Host1
    3. Use the checkbox on "Windows services by Zabbix agent: Windows services discovery" and then press "Execute now"
    4. Go to the Triggers for Host1 and remove all services that we don't need to monitor.
    That's all.
