Question on Action logic for creating a new Trigger and sending an email

Hello,

I'm trying to configure an alert to warn me when a filesystem goes below 10% of free space.

The filesystem is already below 10% free space when creating the trigger and so the action of sending an email doesn't happen.

What I'm looking to know is if Zabbix needs to see the filesystem above 10% of free space and then drop down to equal (and below) 10% before the Action is created to send an email.

I'm using Zabbix 4.0.14

You can temporarily change the trigger level to 1% (for example), wait for the event to clear, and then reconfigure it back to 10%. It will then trigger and execute your action so you can see it working.
