High swap space usage ( less than 20% free) - Windows Server

    Hi

    Zabbix Server - 6.0.4
    Zabbix Proxy - 6.0.4
    Zabbix Agent 2 - 6.0.5

    We have this alert:

High swap space usage ( less than 20% free) for over 18 days for a Windows Server 2019 virtual machine.
Latest data shows free swap space 0% and total swap space 5.75GB

But running systeminfo on powershell shows:

Virtual Memory: Max Size: 32.511 MB
    Virtual Memory: Available: 4.970 MB
Virtual Memory: In Use: 27.541 MB

How to resolve this alert? We have increased RAM but the alert continues.

    Thanks.

Thanks NGate-Jonathan , I'll try that solution. But this is strange. We have more Windows Server being monitored, and it's the first time we see swap alert. Where does zabbix get this value? After 18 days and still 0% left even with normal RAM usage.

Not sure but I notice Zabbix was not so accurate. I have monitoring the temperature for my network switches. On my switch console it show me 34°C but on Zabbix it show 40°C. Some switches is running at 41°C but on Zabbix it show me 55°C. So Zabbix keep prompt messages to alert me that switches is high on temperature but in reality based on switch info showing it was cooler. My server room temperature was running on 21~22°C. So it shouldn't be 55°C. On the monitoring software and BIOS also showing me it was cooler than Zabbix showing me.

If you like to get into discussion what's wrong with the switch template you are using, preferably open a new post about that.
