    Windows Event Log Data Storage issue

    I have configured Windows event logs for my AD server, where i want to collect the log for user who have been log in and log off through the AD authentication. I am able to collect the user event log through the template. but the problem is that its not showing the data for previous day and not able to storage the log for few days. I need to keep the logs for 180 days.

      Increase the storage period in item config?

      Another question is, why you want to use monitoring tool as a log storage, even if its just partial...

          Already increase the storage period to 180days, but still not working. I am using zabbix for log storage because its free. can you suggest any other free tolls for Log storage as windows Event does not storage these logs. Or any free tools which keep log for which user authenticated with AD for login and logoff.

          We don't use Zabbix as log storage. I using Kiwisyslog to store all my firewall, server and switches log.

              But there is not any Free tools for Windows Event log storage, Please suggest any tools for Windows AD Server event log storage,
