Monitor switch which doesn't accept ICMP ping ?

Hello ,

I want to monitor a switch which doesn't accept ICMP ping.
I can see on the dashboard "unavalaible icmp ping"
It's ok, I don't want the switch to be pinged.
BUT , it doesn't show any data on the graphs , while the port 161 is open in UDP.

I already monitor the same switch which allow ICMP ping and it works , I think there is an issue here ?

Using a login to your Zabbix host, can you ping the switch or are you able to ping from some other source? Can you snmpwalk from the zabbix host command line and see output with the appropriate community string?
