    I moved the Discovery from Zabbix Agent to Zabbix Agent (Active) and it's now working. if someone can help me understand why...

        Are you running v3.2.4 or 3.0.8? There is a bug causing this error, it has been fixed for 3.2.5 and 3.0.9, but those have not yet been released.

        edit - correction, they were released 4/20.

            This is a dumb question I'm sure, but I'm trying to setup the regex for the service exceptions as described but I'm not finding where to put that Regex. I saw somebody mention Admin/General/Regexp but I don't have that option, General on my 3.2 only has a few GUI options.

                On the discovery rule, there is a Filters tab. You can set the regex there. Covered here.
