    Multiple interfaces

Hello - I am running into some troubles setting up a proxy with multiple interfaces and im hoping someone can help me out.

    1. Raspi pi 4
    2. Wlan0 - Internet access back to Server
    3. eth0 - hosts go here

If I have the eth0 unplugged the proxy checks in
    Once plugged in no luck.

    any help would be amazing.

Zabbix depends upon the underlying network config. Have you correctly configuring routing for the proxy?

        I am not sure, I suppose -

        What I can say.
        • I can ping the Zabbix server (on server through the internet) from the proxy - no problem, running off wifi with no hardwired LAN plugged in. (There is no internet on LAN just local access.
        • I can ping the Zabbix server (on server through the internet) from the proxy - no problem, running off wifi with no hardwired LAN NOT plugged in
        • With the LAN plugged in the Zabbix proxy doesn't reach the server log says unable to reach.

Any idea what to check for correct routing?

You probably need to find a good guide to Linux routing.

Based on my (incomplete) understanding of your configuration, it sounds like your default gateway should be the wifi, but you probably need to add a static route to get to whatever local network range you have via eth0. You're going to need to use either "ip route show" or "netstat -rn" (not sure which your distro will prefer) to view the routing tables, and whatever tool is appropriate for your distro to create a static route to the local LAN.

Thank you I have made a little headway here, I was able to make the wifi the default gateway. by removing the gateway to the local network. The device can ping the local network fine and is reporting back to the server as being seen. however, no configured hosts ever report.
