I have just upgraded to the newest version of Zabbix (6.2) from 5.4.12 and it has all gone smoothly.
I was under the impression that the VMWare template would be upgraded as part of the overall upgrade to include new metrics for thins like snapshots, switches and VMWare tools status (as per 5 What's new in Zabbix 6.2.0)
However, the template remains the same.
Is it that 6.2 supports gathering of these metrics, but we have to add a template/modify an existing one to gather the information?
Has anyone attempted to do this with the new metrics and can advise of the best way to do this?
