grey icon zabbix availability with zabbix 6.0.6

    Hi all!

I just finish to configure automation with ansible for 3 servers ,zabbix-server, zabbix-pgsql, and zabbix-front with nginx, all seems to be OK except the color of the zabbix availability icon on the host dashboard...
I configure host with template Linux by Zabbix agent active and ICMP Ping, I have the graph of the host, but except of the zabbix server agent who have green icon, my two other hosts stay with grey icon...

On my precedent zabbix server 5, I have the same template but I have green icon for the zabbix availability...

Only hosts with passive (= non-active) items can show green in Zabbix 6.0. If the host only has active items, it will stay grey.

In Zabbix 6.2 also active items can bring the hosts green, see https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...t-availability

Hi and thank you for your help, effectively, yesterday I test with passive and I see green icon, what a pity in the ZABBIX 5 version it was ok
I prefer the LTS version, I do without the green icon ... I will test if there are a alert if the agent on the host is down, it's very important

      Thanks

I just test, I stop the agent on a test host and I don't have any alert...It's too important for me, I must find a solution to be alert when an agent is down on a server....
        I continue to serach

          Ok that's totally different thing.

In the "Linux by Zabbix agent active" template there should be an item "Zabbix agent ping", and it should have a trigger for agent availability. It is controlled by macro {$AGENT.NODATA_TIMEOUT} whose default value is apparently 30 minutes. Set it to your liking (either in template or in the hosts) and test again.
