Need ideas for altering tags for LLD discovered items/trigger

Hello,

let say I have link between two network devices, I monitor: link status, ipsla status, bgp state

and if it fails I usually get alerts from all 3 from both involved devices.

I want to TAG all those items, triggers with a specific service tag, so I can use it later in zabbix services

But, I can not tag it in LLD rule because I have many devices/interfaces, I can not tag it manually since zabbix wont let me change tags for discovered items! And I can not use specific triggers in services!

Do we have a solution for this ? I feel I am close to something great but stuck

Hello nvitaly007, I was dealing with similar issue about adding different tags to discovered items, so we can monitor different logical services via tags.

We were able to resolve this issue with functionality (tab) Overrides in Discovery rule, you can add different tag to discovered items/triggers by regular expressions mathes on in our case {#UNIT.NAME} but it can be any macro.
