Does ipmitool need to be installed on Zabbix server for IPMI Check to work?

Hello,

I'm using Zabbix 3.0 and trying to connect to my SuperMicro Server IPMI port. Does IPMITool need to be installed on my Zabbix Server?

I have ipmipollers set to 3 in my zabbix_server.conf file. Is there anything else (besides configuring the host) that I need to install?

Zabbix server is accessed by using the OpenIPMI library.
ipmitool is not required.

When it is confirmed from the command line, you may want to install the ipmitool.

Do you not have been something output to Zabbix server log?
Is not the status of item "Not supported"?
