Monitor CPU and memory usage

Hi,

I would like to monitor my switch CPU and memory usage. I have download the template from below links and imported but it shows not supported.

My switch is Cisco Catalyst 3560-48 PS & Cisco Catalyst 3560-G48TS

I have upload a screenshot which shows not support for the template.
Any idea on this ?

Move the cursor to 'X' symbol. You will see why it says not supported.
The template is an example/default template. First thing you need to take care is
- Is the community string inside template is added in your switch?
- Are you able to do snmp poll from your zabbix instance to your switch ( try snmpget/snmpwalk commands)
- Are you able to take out SNMP OID's inside the xml and run walk/get to your switch?

Hi,

You are right. I point to the 'X' symbol and found the error message was "Timeout while connect to the host". I tried snmpwalk using OID in the XML and it works. So i check the XML file. The template I imported was correct but the community string in the template was set to public (which is different with what i set in the switch). I change the community string and it was able to collect data now.
