Multiple Interfaces Question

Hi everyone. I have a question: how do multiple interfaces work? I want to configure 2 SNMP connections (the default and a backup one) but i noticed that, when the first is offline, zabbix doesnt switch automatically to the second. Is there a way to do that?

As far as I know, Zabbix doesn't support such a mode.
