how to grant users read to all hosts ? Even newly added?

User Groups have host permissions with the default being host group: "All Groups" : Permissions: "None"

How do I set this so a user has Read to all new hosts that are added ?

Is there a way to setup a user Group with Read to all hosts groups?

I tried creating a Host Group called: AllHosts
but I am having difficulty setting an action to automatically apply this against all hosts because some of our hosts are discovered and some are manually added.

    Any suggestions?

Create a user group with read permissions to all host groups, and add users to that group?

Until a user creates a new host group and users no longer have access.

Or hosts are added without a host group and then no access except for the super user.

There are custom user roles since 5.2.
You may create a new superadmin-based user role and restrict access to settings etc.

I think it is annoying that you have to go back to the user group's host permissions and add a newly added host group, I think it should be a choice to include all future host groups automatically, maybe with an extra checkbox.
It does recognize if I select all groups and 'read' access for example and change the host groups list to "All groups".

As a possible workarround: Mayby have an "All hosts" and "All services" group. Allow all users acces to those, and then when adding new stuff, always add hosts and services to those two groups along with any other groups you add it to
