CPU utilization in negative numebrs...

Hi,

I have instaled a latest relase 6.2 of Zabbox and have some issues with the item CPU utilization.
On all hosts is it OK, but I dont know why on the Dell EMC Isilon storage with standard Linux SNMP Template I get negative CPU utilization results.


Please is possible to help me with it?

Hi,
I have found the problem.
The problem is that the CPU Idle from which ist CPU Utilization depending is higher then 100 and this is higher while the system count all CPU utilizations together. So I get it from Linux devices over SNMP.

Now is there this Java preprocesing:

return (100 - value)

When I get there Abs() I will not get a correct result, only it will be always positive.

Can you help me how it will be best then count that I get correct values?

It appears that this topic has led to issue ZBX-21641.
Voting for it may help Zabbix to prioritize a fix.
