    SNMPv3 : SNMP error

    Hi,

I have a problem with a device that uses SNMPv3. Zabbix tells me that SNMPv3 is available (so the different configurations are well done) screen below.

But when I start to retrieve some OIDs, it tells me: SNMP error: authorizationError (access denied to that object)

However, when I run the snmpwalk command directly on the same server, I manage to retrieve the OID I want.

Zabbix logs inform me that the equipment is available:

Someone would have any idea ? I don't think it comes from the equipment since I manage to recover the OID. I have several devices in SNMPv3 and this problem does not occur. It is only on this equipment that I have the concern.

I'm on version 6.2 but on version 6.0 it was already giving me the problem.

    Hi!
Are you using the same authentication protocol on both sides (device and Zabbix)?

Yes, I have several devices in SNMPv3 with the same authentications and for the others I have no worries.

        Example log

item "XXXX[ifSpeed.532480]" became not supported: SNMP error: authorizationError (access denied to that object)
