Hello, I am having an issue with Zabbix 3.0 graphing traffic on sub-interfaces of our Juniper ISG 1000.
Please bear with me, I am completely new to Zabbix, and relatively new to SNMP as a whole.
I added our firewall as a host using SNMP into Zabbix, with the template SNMP Device. This connects fine, and graphs data from physical interfaces. However, sub-interfaces do not get graphed. Looking in Zabbix under "items" for the host, the sub-interfaces are listed, but status is "not supported". Some research on Juniper website (https://kb.juniper.net/InfoCenter/in...57&actp=search) indicates that since 6.3.0, sub-interface traffic is supported via SNMP. We are currently running 6.3.0, so this should not be the issue.
This is where I get a little lost - is it the template itself which does not support the sub-interfaces? I found online someone who has made a Juniper specific template, however this requires the netscreen enterprise mibs, when the Juniper KB article states that this should not be necessary.
I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance.
