No Agents working since 3.0

None of our agents active are working / reporting any data since 3.0. I'm not sure why exactly.

The agents don't report any errors. And as far as I can tell there are no errors in the server.

Anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

Installing the Agent on the server with active config works fine.

I have a rule when the server detects an active agent it automatically adds the host. So the host gets created, but all of the data comes through blank.

All of the agents i'm testing are also proxies, so I just configured one agent to connect to the active server of 127.0.0.1 to see if that makes a difference.

It created the host in the server and linked the Linux template, but no data shows up so far.

Seems like many times when I post on here I end up figuring it out.

FYI the reason for the issue is within the templates I was applying the type of items were all set to Zabbix Agent. They needed to be set to Zabbix Agent (Active).

Once I did that, everything started working again.

I hope this helps someone out in the future.

It simply means that (server) -> (agent) queries using tcp/10050 are not working.

What is exactly not working? what kind of diagnostics you've done?

This has been fixed. The items needed to be set to Zabbix Agent (Active) not Zabbix Agent.

There were no errors in the log
