How do I: Update IP addresses - Proxy to Main?

I have a Zabbix server running on a hosted service, I have 25 sites reporting into that server via proxies.

I set the computers reporting through the remote proxies with an ip address schema across all 25 of those sites. I then went into the main Zabbix server and set the configuration to match the new ip schema at the 25 sites reporting in through the proxies. I then waited a day, the problem is that all of the hosts on the zabbix main server show an alert of unreachable. They are totally reachable, not sure how to fix the issue? Please advise, thanks!

    How do I fix this?

This is the error I am getting
172.16.116.51:10050 Not available Get value from agent failed: cannot connect to [[172.16.116.117]:10050]: [113] No route to host
The ip set in the configuration is 172.16.116.51 the one that it is looking for is .117 it is like it has that value stored somewhere because even though I changed it to .51 it is still looking for .117 I did wait 24 hours thinking it might take a bit but it doesn't seem to be clearing up.

Check your proxies, are they getting updated config from the server?

Do I just have to delete these hosts and then go through the process of readding them?

Yea, that seems like an awful way to remedy the situation, but if you delete the host and you have autoregistration on the host will re-add with the correct information.

On the proxy, zabbix_proxy -R config_cache_reload, then check the proxy log. The proxy config option ConfigFrequency is how often (seconds) the proxy updates it's config from the server. Default is 1 hour.
